The button label and color change while playing to reflect the current transport mode.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Stop \/ Pause \/ Replay<\/h3>\n\n<p>Each channel has its own transport mode, set with the segmented picker:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Stop<\/strong> \u2014 rewinds to the configured start time.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Pause<\/strong> \u2014 keeps the current playback position.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Replay<\/strong> \u2014 rewinds and starts again immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Loop<\/h3>\n\n<p>Loops between the <strong>Start<\/strong> and <strong>Stop<\/strong> times you set in <strong>More<\/strong>. Tap the lock icon to pin the channel at 1.0\u00d7.<\/td>\n    <\/tr>\n    <tr>\n      <td><strong>Pan<\/strong><\/td>\n      <td>Three-state stereo pan: Left, Center, Right. Tap to cycle.<\/td>\n    <\/tr>\n    <tr>\n      <td><strong>Fade<\/strong><\/td>\n      <td>Fades the channel to silent over the duration shown. Set the duration in <strong>More<\/strong>.<\/td>\n    <\/tr>\n  <\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n<h3>Start \/ Stop times<\/h3>\n\n<p>Open <strong>More<\/strong> on a channel to trim where playback begins and ends. Both Loop and the Stop transport mode respect these trim points.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"apple-music\">Apple Music tracks<\/h2>\n\n<p>Tracks loaded from your <strong>Music Library<\/strong> that are DRM-protected stream through the system player. You&#8217;ll see a pink <strong>Apple Music<\/strong> badge on the channel, and the controls are limited to:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Play<\/strong><\/li>\n  <li><strong>Stop<\/strong><\/li>\n  <li><strong>Pause<\/strong><\/li>\n  <li><strong>Replay<\/strong><\/li>\n  <li><strong>Loop<\/strong><\/li>\n  <li><strong>Seek<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Only one Apple Music channel can play at a time.<\/strong> Starting playback on a second Apple Music channel automatically stops the first.<\/p>\n\n<p>Other features behave differently on Apple Music channels:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Fade<\/strong> falls back to a hard stop.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Rate<\/strong>, <strong>Pan<\/strong>, and <strong>Volume meter<\/strong> are unavailable.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Start\/Stop trim<\/strong> uses the Music app&#8217;s seek, so very small trims may snap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>If you want full control over a track that&#8217;s available in your library, import an <code>.mp3<\/code> \/ <code>.m4a<\/code> copy into Files and load it via <strong>From Files<\/strong> instead.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"global-controls\">Global controls<\/h2>\n\n<p>The bottom toolbar has two app-wide actions:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Stop All<\/strong> \u2014 stops every channel at once, respecting each channel&#8217;s own transport mode (Stop, Pause, or Replay).<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Fade All<\/strong> \u2014 fades every playing channel using each channel&#8217;s own fade duration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 id=\"troubleshooting\">Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n\n<h3>&#8220;I picked a song but the channel says Empty \/ won&#8217;t play&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>The song may have been removed from your library or is iCloud-only and hasn&#8217;t downloaded yet. Open the <strong>Music<\/strong> app, tap the cloud icon next to the song to download it, and try again.<\/li>\n  <li>If the song is an <strong>Apple Music subscription track<\/strong>, it must be added to your library (heart \/ +). Tracks browsed but not added cannot be selected.<\/li>\n  <li>Make sure you&#8217;ve granted myReplay access to <strong>Media &amp; Apple Music<\/strong> in <strong>Settings \u2192 myReplay<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>&#8220;From Files&#8221; doesn&#8217;t show my audio file<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Only audio types are filtered into the picker: <code>.mp3<\/code>, <code>.m4a<\/code>, <code>.wav<\/code>, <code>.aiff<\/code>. Other formats (e.g. <code>.flac<\/code>, <code>.ogg<\/code>, <code>.opus<\/code>) aren&#8217;t supported. Convert to one of the supported formats first.<\/li>\n  <li>Files inside zipped archives must be extracted before they appear.<\/li>\n  <li>If the file lives in a cloud provider (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive), make sure the provider&#8217;s Files extension is enabled in <strong>Files \u2192 Browse \u2192 \u22ef \u2192 Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Playback is silent or very quiet<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Check the <strong>per-channel volume slider<\/strong> as well as your device&#8217;s hardware volume.<\/li>\n  <li>Make sure the <strong>Ring\/Silent switch<\/strong> isn&#8217;t muting media playback for an unrelated reason \u2014 myReplay plays through the media channel, but routing can change if a phone call or VoIP app grabbed the audio session.<\/li>\n  <li>If you&#8217;re connected to <strong>AirPods, CarPlay, or Bluetooth<\/strong>, confirm the route in Control Center.<\/li>\n  <li>The <strong>Pan<\/strong> may be set to Left or Right \u2014 if you&#8217;re listening on a single earbud you&#8217;ll hear nothing on the opposite side. Tap Pan to cycle back to Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>The audio sounds glitchy, choppy, or distorted<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Many channels playing at extreme rates (close to 0.5\u00d7 or 2\u00d7) can overload older devices. Try setting affected channels back to 1.0\u00d7 and tapping the lock to pin them.<\/li>\n  <li>Background apps recording or streaming audio (Zoom, FaceTime, Voice Memos) compete for the audio session. Close them, then return to myReplay.<\/li>\n  <li>For Apple Music channels, glitches usually mean the track is still streaming from iCloud \u2014 download a local copy from the Music app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Apple Music track won&#8217;t play \/ starts then stops<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>The track may require an active <strong>Apple Music subscription<\/strong> that has lapsed. Check <strong>Settings \u2192 [your name] \u2192 Subscriptions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n  <li>The track may be <strong>DRM-protected and not downloaded<\/strong>. Download it in the Music app first.<\/li>\n  <li>If you&#8217;ve started a second Apple Music channel, the first stops automatically \u2014 this is by design (the system only allows one Music player at a time).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Fade button doesn&#8217;t fade an Apple Music channel<\/h3>\n\n<p>This is expected \u2014 the system Music player doesn&#8217;t expose smooth volume ramps, so myReplay falls back to a hard stop for Apple Music channels. To use real fades, load a local audio file instead.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Loop doesn&#8217;t loop, or jumps unexpectedly<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Confirm <strong>Start time<\/strong> is less than <strong>Stop time<\/strong> in <strong>More<\/strong>. If Stop is 0, the channel uses the full duration.<\/li>\n  <li>Apple Music loops use the system repeat mode and may have a brief gap at the loop point \u2014 this is a limitation of the system player, not the file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Channel reordering didn&#8217;t stick \/ settings got reset<\/h3>\n\n<p>Channel order, titles, volume, rate, pan, loop, trim, and fade duration are all saved automatically. If they revert:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>Force-quit and relaunch the app to confirm the issue reproduces.<\/li>\n  <li>Make sure the device isn&#8217;t out of storage \u2014 saving fails silently when the disk is full.<\/li>\n  <li>If the problem persists, email support with the steps you took.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Meters look stuck at zero<\/h3>\n\n<ul>\n  <li>The VU meter only updates while a channel is actively playing through the local engine. Apple Music channels don&#8217;t expose meter data.<\/li>\n  <li>If a local channel is playing but the meter is flat, the file may be silent at that timecode (check the Start time) or the volume slider may be at 0.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>App doesn&#8217;t appear in Files \/ Music permission prompts<\/h3>\n\n<p>iOS only asks for permission the first time. If you denied it, grant access manually:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Settings \u2192 myReplay \u2192 Media &amp; Apple Music<\/strong> \u2014 enable for Music Library picking.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Settings \u2192 Privacy &amp; Security \u2192 Files and Folders \u2192 myReplay<\/strong> \u2014 enable for Files access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3>Audio keeps stopping when I lock the screen or switch apps<\/h3>\n\n<p>myReplay is designed for foreground use. If you need background playback for a specific scenario, email support and describe your use case.<\/p>\n\n<h3>Crash on launch or after an update<\/h3>\n\n<ol>\n  <li>Force-quit myReplay (swipe up from the bottom and flick the app card away).<\/li>\n  <li>Reopen.<\/li>\n  <li>If it still crashes, restart your device.<\/li>\n  <li>If it <em>still<\/em> crashes, reinstall from the App Store. <strong>Your channel setup will be lost<\/strong> \u2014 there&#8217;s no iCloud sync at this time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2 id=\"tips\">Tips &amp; shortcuts<\/h2>\n\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Long-press a channel<\/strong> anywhere (List or Grid) to get the move\/delete menu.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Rate lock<\/strong> is great for theater cues where you don&#8217;t want a stray drag to change tempo \u2014 tap the lock on every channel after building your setup.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Trim + Replay<\/strong> turns any channel into a one-shot sample pad: set Start to the hit, Stop just after, transport mode to Replay.<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Fade All<\/strong> is mapped to a single bottom-bar button \u2014 use it as a &#8220;kill switch&#8221; at the end of a scene to ramp everything down naturally instead of cutting hard.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 id=\"privacy\">Privacy<\/h2>\n\n<p>myReplay does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data off-device. Music library access is used only to read the song you pick.
