myReplay turns your iPhone or iPad into a multi-channel sound rack. Load tracks from your Music library or any audio file in Files, then mix, loop, trim, pan, and fade them independently — perfect for theater cues, DJ samples, worship sets, classroom playback, and anywhere you need several audio clips at your fingertips.

Quick start

1. Tap + at the top right to add a channel.
2. Tap the + on the channel to load audio:
   • Music Library — pick a song from your Apple Music / iTunes library.
   • From Files — pick an .mp3, .m4a, .wav, or .aiff file from iCloud Drive, Dropbox, AirDrop, etc.
3. Tap the big green Play button to start the channel.
4. Use the bottom toolbar’s Stop All or Fade All to control every channel at once.

Layout & channels

Switching between List and Grid view

Tap the icon at the top-left of the main screen.

• List view shows every control for each channel inline.
• Grid view shows compact tiles — tap a tile to play, or tap the sliders icon on the tile to open the full controls.

Your choice is remembered between launches.

Adding, reordering, and deleting channels

• Add: tap + in the top-right.
• Move or delete: long-press a channel (works in both List and Grid view) for Move Up, Move Down, and Delete.
• Channel order, titles, and all settings persist across app launches.

Transport controls

Play / Stop

The big green button starts the channel. The button label and color change while playing to reflect the current transport mode.

Stop / Pause / Replay

Each channel has its own transport mode, set with the segmented picker:

• Stop — rewinds to the configured start time.
• Pause — keeps the current playback position.
• Replay — rewinds and starts again immediately.

Loop

Loops between the Start and Stop times you set in More. Edits are honored live — change the Start time while looping and the next loop will use the new value.

Audio controls

Control	What it does
Volume + Meter	Per-channel volume slider with a stereo VU meter showing live signal level.
Rate	0.5× to 2× playback speed. Tap the lock icon to pin the channel at 1.0×.
Pan	Three-state stereo pan: Left, Center, Right. Tap to cycle.
Fade	Fades the channel to silent over the duration shown. Set the duration in More.

Start / Stop times

Open More on a channel to trim where playback begins and ends. Both Loop and the Stop transport mode respect these trim points.

Apple Music tracks

Tracks loaded from your Music Library that are DRM-protected stream through the system player. You’ll see a pink Apple Music badge on the channel, and the controls are limited to:

• Play
• Stop
• Pause
• Replay
• Loop
• Seek

Only one Apple Music channel can play at a time. Starting playback on a second Apple Music channel automatically stops the first.

Other features behave differently on Apple Music channels:

• Fade falls back to a hard stop.
• Rate, Pan, and Volume meter are unavailable.
• Start/Stop trim uses the Music app’s seek, so very small trims may snap.

If you want full control over a track that’s available in your library, import an .mp3 / .m4a copy into Files and load it via From Files instead.

Global controls

The bottom toolbar has two app-wide actions:

• Stop All — stops every channel at once, respecting each channel’s own transport mode (Stop, Pause, or Replay).
• Fade All — fades every playing channel using each channel’s own fade duration.

Troubleshooting

“I picked a song but the channel says Empty / won’t play”

• The song may have been removed from your library or is iCloud-only and hasn’t downloaded yet. Open the Music app, tap the cloud icon next to the song to download it, and try again.
• If the song is an Apple Music subscription track, it must be added to your library (heart / +). Tracks browsed but not added cannot be selected.
• Make sure you’ve granted myReplay access to Media & Apple Music in Settings → myReplay.

“From Files” doesn’t show my audio file

• Only audio types are filtered into the picker: .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .aiff. Other formats (e.g. .flac, .ogg, .opus) aren’t supported. Convert to one of the supported formats first.
• Files inside zipped archives must be extracted before they appear.
• If the file lives in a cloud provider (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive), make sure the provider’s Files extension is enabled in Files → Browse → ⋯ → Edit.

Playback is silent or very quiet

• Check the per-channel volume slider as well as your device’s hardware volume.
• Make sure the Ring/Silent switch isn’t muting media playback for an unrelated reason — myReplay plays through the media channel, but routing can change if a phone call or VoIP app grabbed the audio session.
• If you’re connected to AirPods, CarPlay, or Bluetooth, confirm the route in Control Center.
• The Pan may be set to Left or Right — if you’re listening on a single earbud you’ll hear nothing on the opposite side. Tap Pan to cycle back to Center.

The audio sounds glitchy, choppy, or distorted

• Many channels playing at extreme rates (close to 0.5× or 2×) can overload older devices. Try setting affected channels back to 1.0× and tapping the lock to pin them.
• Background apps recording or streaming audio (Zoom, FaceTime, Voice Memos) compete for the audio session. Close them, then return to myReplay.
• For Apple Music channels, glitches usually mean the track is still streaming from iCloud — download a local copy from the Music app.

Apple Music track won’t play / starts then stops

• The track may require an active Apple Music subscription that has lapsed. Check Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• The track may be DRM-protected and not downloaded. Download it in the Music app first.
• If you’ve started a second Apple Music channel, the first stops automatically — this is by design (the system only allows one Music player at a time).

Fade button doesn’t fade an Apple Music channel

This is expected — the system Music player doesn’t expose smooth volume ramps, so myReplay falls back to a hard stop for Apple Music channels. To use real fades, load a local audio file instead.

Loop doesn’t loop, or jumps unexpectedly

• Confirm Start time is less than Stop time in More. If Stop is 0, the channel uses the full duration.
• Apple Music loops use the system repeat mode and may have a brief gap at the loop point — this is a limitation of the system player, not the file.

Channel reordering didn’t stick / settings got reset

Channel order, titles, volume, rate, pan, loop, trim, and fade duration are all saved automatically. If they revert:

• Force-quit and relaunch the app to confirm the issue reproduces.
• Make sure the device isn’t out of storage — saving fails silently when the disk is full.
• If the problem persists, email support with the steps you took.

Meters look stuck at zero

• The VU meter only updates while a channel is actively playing through the local engine. Apple Music channels don’t expose meter data.
• If a local channel is playing but the meter is flat, the file may be silent at that timecode (check the Start time) or the volume slider may be at 0.

App doesn’t appear in Files / Music permission prompts

iOS only asks for permission the first time. If you denied it, grant access manually:

• Settings → myReplay → Media & Apple Music — enable for Music Library picking.
• Settings → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders → myReplay — enable for Files access.

Audio keeps stopping when I lock the screen or switch apps

myReplay is designed for foreground use. If you need background playback for a specific scenario, email support and describe your use case.

Crash on launch or after an update

1. Force-quit myReplay (swipe up from the bottom and flick the app card away).
2. Reopen.
3. If it still crashes, restart your device.
4. If it still crashes, reinstall from the App Store. Your channel setup will be lost — there’s no iCloud sync at this time.

Tips & shortcuts

• Long-press a channel anywhere (List or Grid) to get the move/delete menu.
• Rate lock is great for theater cues where you don’t want a stray drag to change tempo — tap the lock on every channel after building your setup.
• Trim + Replay turns any channel into a one-shot sample pad: set Start to the hit, Stop just after, transport mode to Replay.
• Fade All is mapped to a single bottom-bar button — use it as a “kill switch” at the end of a scene to ramp everything down naturally instead of cutting hard.

Privacy

myReplay does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data off-device. Music library access is used only to read the song you pick. File picker access only sees files you explicitly choose.
